From August 4th there will be a minor change to the AGM medical staff rotas: the firms doing the Wednesday and Thursday night takes will swap half the time. This will ensure that all firms will do Thursday night takes, not just Firms C and D as at present. This will affect all medical staff. The rota website has been updated to reflect this change.
A second change will occur in August: at present each team starts its 8-week block on a Wednesday, taking over from the team on take for the previous weekend (Sat day/Sun night). From August, the consultant for the incoming team will do that weekend take, effectively starting his 8-week block on the Saturday. At the moment there is no plan to change the junior staff rotas, and the website does not yet reflect this change. The website daily rota page and published rotas will show the correct consultant. The site will be updated in due course to show the correct team for that weekend.
